Painting @ Studio Escalier, France

Today is the day I have been waiting for...well forever! I am off to France to find out what is beautiful, natural and essential to the study, art and practice of painting.  At 50 something, I am just a regular Mom and 'studio' wife (since I dont do housework when ever possible) So what am I doing, what do I hope to achieve? Follow along as I attempt to ...ahhum 'blog daily' this amazing opportunity I have been given. Right now I have a plane to catch, so with suitcase bursting its seems full of art supplies and French books.

Photo insert....My suitcase yesterday, notice no clothes in it yet...to make room I ditched the hairdryer and ran down to a hairdresser to have my hair treated and straightened..cant have frizzy hair in France. Also took out all of my stretcher bars they weighed far too much, and pulled my roll of blue shop towels, the best to use, apart and rerolled with out the inner tube, tip from my mentor Sadie Valeri, who also study with Studio Escalier too.

Au Revoir...see you in France,

Studio Escalier here I come!
